I’d been looking to buy a portable monitor a while back, and then I came across an ad for this brand on Facebook. I was really surprised by its great value for money, so I placed an order right away.
It took only 10 days from ordering to delivery. While that felt a bit slow, I could accept it given how affordable it is.
I only needed a lightweight monitor for business trips. The 13.5-inch size perfectly matches my MacBook. Having two displays of nearly the same size side by side is much easier on the eyes, and both fit neatly into my backpack.
When I received the package, I thought the packaging felt a bit basic, but luckily the product arrived in perfect condition. Inside the box were three cables, though only the Type-C one was useful to me. I ended up throwing the other two away, which felt quite wasteful. It would be better if the manufacturer cut the extra cables and lowered the price a bit more.
The entire outer casing is made of plastic, presumably to keep costs down. It doesn’t have the premium feel of metal, but it’s totally acceptable considering the price. You just need to handle it with a bit more care. It’s perfectly fine for most adult users with normal usage habits—just keep it away from playful young kids.
I haven’t run actual tests on the official specifications, but based on my years of experience with digital devices, this monitor works perfectly fine for daily office work, stock trading, and programming. Limited by its cost, its color performance can’t compare to the MacBook display or high-end portable monitors. However, if you’re comfortable tweaking settings yourself, you can get decent colors by adjusting the physical buttons and color modes.
Another thing to note: when there’s no signal input, the monitor automatically enters engineering mode, cycling through red, green, and blue test screens. You can turn this off by long-pressing the dial button on the back. It would be better if the manufacturer disabled this mode by default in the system, as it can be confusing for less tech-savvy users. I only figured out how to turn it off with help from ChatGPT.
Overall, this has been an excellent purchase experience. For basic daily use, it performs just as well as monitors that cost over 500 US dollars.
